I graduated from Carroll High in 2011, and since then, I have been a licensed insurance professional with a passion for helping others understand what life insurance options are available to them. I have been a part of Jenna Mack’s State Farm team since 2016, and as an Office Manager I remain dedicated to serving our Dale & Pike County neighbors.

I began my insurance career at the Jenna Mack State Farm agency in 2013, where I quickly acquired my licenses, including auto, home, and commercial insurance lines. Before entering the world of insurance, I pursued my passion as a licensed cosmetologist. It was during this time that I crossed paths with Jenna, forging a connection that would eventually lead me to a fulfilling insurance career.
Outside of work, I enjoy many simple pleasures such as; spending time at the beach, taking photos, and most importantly being with my family and friends. Since graduating school in 2006, I have had the opportunity to live and explore diverse places such as Fort Bragg, various parts of Virginia, Washington, D.C., and even Alaska. Along the way, I’ve met incredible people and created lasting memories through car clubs and activism. There’s nothing quite like the thrill of the track and the joy of supporting others through progress and change.

Hello, my name is Sheryl Peavy and I was born and raised in Ozark, Alabama. After graduating from Carroll High School in 1977, I pursued a degree in computer science at George Wallace Community College. In November 1984, I married my husband, Alan Peavy, and we were blessed with two wonderful children, Joshua and Caleb. My insurance career began in 1990 with Bob Elia’s State Farm Agency, where I served the Ozark community until his retirement in 2015. After, I had an opportunity to work for Jenna and have found great joy in my job and the amazing people I work with.
Outside of work, I enjoy engaging in various DIY activities and participating in craft expos. I also find pleasure in finding good deals and thrifting, and when the opportunity arises, I enjoy going on cruises with my sister-in-law, Jill. Overall, I value my family, my work, and the hobbies that bring me joy. Since graduating from Zion Chapel in 2010, I knew I wanted a career centered around helping others, but finding the right fit took time. Everything clicked when I connected with Jenna Mack, who welcomed me to the team as a receptionist. Today, I am channeling that opportunity into a lifelong career, actively working toward obtaining my insurance license so I can provide our policyholders with the ultimate assurance.
At home, I am happily married to my high school sweetheart, Ray, and we are blessed with three incredible children: Conley, Grace, and Grady.
