After graduating from Carroll High School in 1977, I pursued a degree in computer science at George Wallace Community College. In November 1984, I married my husband, Alan Peavy, and we were blessed with two wonderful children, Joshua and Caleb. In 1990, I began working part-time for Bob Elia’s State Farm Agency and I continued to work for him until his retirement in 2015. After his retirement, I had an opportunity to work for Jenna and have found great joy in my job and the amazing people I work with. Outside of work, I enjoy engaging in various DIY activities and participating in craft expos. Aside from crafting, I find pleasure in finding good deals and thrifting, and when the opportunity arises, I enjoy going on cruises with my sister-in-law, Jill. At our 10th anniversary, my husband joined the Army and spent about 3 1⁄2 years each in Washington, Alaska, Texas, and Alabama.
